Imagination
What roams the land of my imagination?
Cats, wearing hats, eating bats and fizzilats?
For everything, there would be no explanation
Furry, fat, fanged fanshalates?
Mystical creatures,
with the most magnificent features?
Chuds eating crud in a flood of mud?
Bugs giving hugs and selling drugs?
Dizzy damners doing daffy deeds?
Everyone would have a place,
in this big, wide, open space
Silly siblers shooting sinful, sinning sinners
Blue, blotchy blinettes bleeding brown blood
No matter how big or how small,
everyone stands tall
In my mind,
everyone's kind
Dinosaurs eating floors, slamming doors and ending wars
When you ask what my dream was about-
I'll reply with, “You’ll soon find out"
It's going to be real someday,
There will be a brae beating bombglombers to the buffet
Everyone has a home,
everyone's well known
What a happy place

This is one of the best poems I've read on this site so far. Then again, I'm a sucker for clever and cheerful poems, filled with humor and fun. I'd say this poem was a mix of Dr. Seuss and Maya Angelou... with a little Lewis Carroll thrown in for spice. And if you wrote it, then your mind is as free as this. You just don't know it yet.

Aww, thanks. I'm so glad you liked it! And I LOVE Dr.Seuss! It was different for me, to write a clever poem like that, I don't know what I usually write like, but it's not as light and happy as this one. haha

LOLOL 'fizzilats' Is that even a word? It should be. I really enjoyed this. Written with youthful essence....it is amazing to see where the mind can wander if allowed. I've enjoyed this utopic wonderland you've created.

haha, it really ely ely should be a word! but I made up like 3275623985 of them for this poem. Usually, my poems are alot deeper than this haha. if you wanna see, click [show all poetry], then click on the ones sort-of in the middle, those are the deeper-ish ones
Glad you liked it haha.

Hahahaha, this is great. Getting inside somebody's imagination, who knows what we all think about - and hold - in our minds. Brilliant flow in this piece. There was a spelling mistake though 'maginficent' is spelt 'MAGNIFICENT' sorry about that. But a great poem all the same. All the best
