Storm Crow

If I could somehow change today
Or maybe find another way to rule the earth
I would fly above this scene
of all the hurts and shattered dreams I birthed
I would rise again, reborn
I would bring the cleansing storm

If I could somehow right these wrongs
Or find the place where I belong within this time
I would hold the lightning back
Rebuild the focus I have lacked, Irony Refined
I will rise again, reborn
I will contain the raging storm

    Thank you for your contest submission as well as for following the rules. WOW This is such a wonderful rendition for the given prompt! I like the flow, it was almost lyrical and had a touch of end-to-internal rhyme, that is unique! Is this a specific form or did it just fall into place this way?     This sounds like a very worthy way to change time, to do something other than what you are doing now. Easy to read and understand what you write in these lines.
