Pushed to the edge
By your bitter sweet kiss
You tickle me gently
Till I fall in the abyss
"I'm sorry," you whisper
"It was a simple mistake"
Another promise
That you can't break
I'm dwelling in light
Too damn bright
To open my eyes
So I fantasize
I'm falling

[Still]
You whisper,
"I'm sorry,
I hurt you but I love you"
More bitter sweet
But irony
The sound of you
The feel of me
A metallic taste
Along my gums
You’ve left me with
Your silver tongue
Your words on prey
Attack on queue
Killing me
Empowering you
There never was
Any sense of us
No more any less
Than elusive trust
You hung me high
And bled me dry
But followed through
On all your lies
Passion's fruit
Too, bitter sweet
Enough for now
But just a treat
The worse I get
The more you eat
My passion is my disease
So devour it all
And become infected
My love shall conquer
But never be reflected
Author notes
Long story short: Lots of abusive loves. This one more mentally than others. (Note: My next poem will probably be called "love is an infection" lol)
