I'm pissed about this world around me
Can't hardly stand to watch the news,
War, sickness, and tragedy
I feel myself getting the blues
Worldwide moral is at an all time low
When is all this stuff gonna end,
Each passing day it gets worse
It's time to step up and not pretend
I can't even afford to drive my car
For gas to us is gold,
Mr. Bush doesn't give a damn
Because he doesn't even drive a car
I'm so poor, I can't even pay attention
When my ship comes in, I'll be at the airport,
My house needs so much work
Guess I'll have to build me a fort
The planet we call our home is dying
Fires burning precious acres every day,
Iraq, well that's another Montel
For with that I have plenty to say.
Earthquakes, tornadoe's, sunami's
Floods, oh people can't you see
To me I don't swet the small stuff
Every day is a blessing to me.

woah I loved it!! Everyone can agree that the world isn't as safe as what we would like it to be, and it may hurt us in some way or another but it has its good things about it aswell as the bad..

Amen, I am one lucky gal to be alive for when I took each day for granted and wasted it in ways no one should. I agree the world can be such a depressing thing especially when you watch the news...Would be nice if they open with good news, but then thats sensationalism at its best huh> Great insightfulness and emotion put to good use here!
