Let me tell you a little story
Something about my life
How I was in love
And almost became a wife.
I loved a man, perfect in every way
He took my heart with a few words
We could just talk all day
even when there was nothing to say.
He made me smile all the time
He could brighten up the darkest day
He could never make me sad
because he always knew what to say.
But one day the world came crashing
My love, my life all destroyed
Everything gone... out of sight
Because I got a little annoyed
I cheated on my love
Stupid thing I admit
He didn't know about it
But soon I couldn't quit
I cheated more and more
I didn't stop not for one second
And it wasn't something that I could ignore
Soon he found out ...
About how I was being like a whore
I could never forgive what I did
After our tragic break up
It was always something I forbid;
Yet I would do it to another.
I tried to explain myself
And soon he did forgive
He understood most of it
This is something I never want to relive
Author notes
It was a romantic serious relationship.

thanks
I appreciate that honesty. I didn't see that coming! Yeah, and it tackled a serious issue too; sex can be an addiction. Thanks for your entry, and good luck! -

Wow. Is this a true story? Is this seriously something that happened to you? I did like the poem though. It rymed pretty well. Good job and good luck in your life, dear.
