Early in the morn
Wondering why
You left me so torn
With the knowledge that
There's nothing I can do,
Nothing I can say
To bring back you
So I close my eyes
And what is it I hear?
I hear you saying you love me
And I wish you were here

I loved this poem. It was sweet and packed with emotion. Well, I am sure that you will find that person some day...but don't rush it. You're so young. Heck, I'm so young. Keep up the great work, for you have said so much with so few words here!
-
Beautiful!

this is one of those 'love it'

Very nice, short and expressive. Sad, but truthful, a good poem.

oh i like the part you did "Wondering why you left me torn" So many people have wondered that! You did a great job!
-
Aw I love this. Simple, yet emotional, with great rhyme to boot! I don't see the rhyme as forced at all. That's silly. Thanks for sharing this with the group.
-
I sense forced rhyme in your poem. "to bring back you" Thank you for entering my contest.
