Inscriptions

This parchment lies here, in front of me;

Millions of tiny, fine grains of hope, fear, and love.

The tip of my pen hits the surface;

Suddenly, the scribbles curn into fine letters.

The ink streaks come flowing, as if to claim the space for themselves.

This sheet of worthless grains has transformed into my container

For only my most beautiful inscriptions.

The words on the paper are also ingrained in my soul,

Never to be removed.

    This poem was rather interesting. It was full of imagery within your short words. Nicely done, Thanks for entering and best of luck to you in my contest.
