Satan's feet on sacred ground
As I walk through the trees of innocence
The melody which once sang on the breeze
Now ceases to dance in the sun
Silence
The slender tress bow in shame
Enforcing my retreat
Away I flee to Golgotha fields
When my innocence met its crucifiction
The place where I drank from Satan's tonic
Where I ate the fruits of doom
The place where catching kisses is not enough
And two will finally become one
Such a beautiful, yet sinful night
The sweet sacrifice of innocence
The shimmering pool by which we lay
Is where I choose to sit and rest
Reflected enticingly in crystalline waters
Love in silver trasure
Around the silken neck
Its pedestal
A sincere smile plays on my lips
As Evie whispers through the mist
Which swirls and sets around my heart
The dream of her gentle smile
Shines bright through the clouds of fear
I feel encircling me
The frozen depths of my heart
Are warmed by the hope of her tiny eyes
Gazing lovingly up to mine
I tread a fine line between dreams and truth
The harsh reality stares me face to face
My heart knows not which way to pray
Oh, its so very wrong to hope for life
Yet deep inside it feel so right
If only I had not sipped the poison
If I'd only rejected the venomous embrace
Which loved me so on that night of fall
Beside the enchanted pool
Which trickles lyrically over jagged rocks

Interesting
To me this was a semi erotic poem ina part without ya having to even add much detail I interrepted it that way LOL> I enjoyed how the poem flowed and well any ways as I was saying this was just an interesting poem. To me the poem is so swirled in an interesting way that ya don't get a clear translation but the only one I see are about two lovers combining as one as the lust and desire overwhelm them both and they give in to that sweet sinful nature they so desperately wanted and needed. Either way I really enjoyed the poem Sweet Sam. Keep up the god work *Hug*
With Love for you always, Paul
