I write on my paper, the story of my life
From happiness and joy to anger and strife
It lets me feel like someone else is reading
And they are understanding
I write on my paper, hope and pray
That something amazing will happen one day
I blind myself with the fantasies, imagination, and beautiful sights
I makes me safe from the dark days and nights
I write on my paper, my reasons to live
The reasons I write aren't as hard to believe
I write on my paper, why reasons are true
I write the live happily like you

I'm 12 to those who are judging (My B-day was on May 14th! YES!)
Ok... SO my poems have a little dark side to it... I hope that's alright with you all... O.o

Dark is fine
I think that we all have some residing within us, it makes us who we are. This is a very good piece, it has heart and reality which is most rewarding. Great job on this

You have a couple of little typos you might want to fix. The fourth line of your second stanza.....did you mean 'It' makes me feel safe from dark days and nights?
And your last line did you mean to type 'life' instead of 'live'? Other than that I do believe you have penned a fine poem here upon this page. Nicely Done!
