we should keep trying to be happy, it doesn't always work but if we allow ourselves to get miserable and stay that way, things wont look up either.

Yes, we all wish to pursue happiness and keep it flowing, and that pursuit does definitely show, though some choose to ignore it. I loved this piece and it's flow, as well as it's meaning that has been avoided. Keep up the great work and good luck in the contest!
