Blind Eye

A spiritual warrior lays
camaflouged; hidden
in the brushstrokes of
a mundane painting laced
with false promises of better.

Life lived strangled;
wrapped in stress' rags
of chaotic bitterness.
Seams of society pressed
with tension of personal freedom.

Integrity grasped tight
in fists of enlightened spirit
walking paths
with angelic wings spanning
the universe and beyond.

Compassion strands,

the threads stitching
unconditionalism together
in a world raped
by humanity's blind eye.

It's not that hard to understand if you stop looking for the obvious

    wow

This was beautiful... it was like your words were strokes in a painting - giving us a view of a life and a world long gone. I really loved it.
I love the last two lines as well... they're so powerful and true.

oh wow, over my head, and out of my league - brilliant. I can see you are an excellent poet, and a passionate one- too bad my mind works so differently I can't wrap my mind around this. Could also be because I'm extremely tired write now. But anyway, great poem. PS I'm also a pisces.

The abstraction of man and society as well as the oblivious abstraction of society and spiritalizm's indulgent attribute towards man itself underlines the very core of what's to be undiscovered as every theoretic formulas now lie in way to be only rediscovered once more. Keep penning

Oh, Dear Lord. This is so blunt and powerful, and beautiful. The words are so lovely and poignant. This is such a note-worthy poem. The emotions are obvious and so powerful.

    Excellent job.
