As ones’ who’ve covenanted by sacrifice
How difficult to go through the Camel’s Gate
For all baggage is emptied of ones’ slate
Whatever we yield our members to “we are bound”
There’s Peace, Vision, and Rest in God, to be found
While dramatic actors fine only love-hate scenarios
Attention getting ways make ‘news,’ heard on radios
Golden frames, assimilating freedom, fade in time
Freedom starts within, not without, a process like wine
A chrysalis is a worm before it’s in its confined stage
Believers humble themselves in the face of known rage

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -Benjamin Franklin
