Just One Look

Missing image
Your brown eyes were so paralyzing,
stopped dead in my tracks by you.
Whispering words so tantalizing,
irresistable, was all I knew.

Hearts melted with each loving word,
threw caution to the wind that night.
Passionate fantasy, sighing heard,
quivering with delicious delight.

Lost inibitions, no pretenses,
opening up to new found treasures.
Velvet touches arouse the senses,
submit to one anothers pleasures.

Love knew no limits between us two,
both searching for the ultimate peak.
You pleasing me and me pleasings you
leaving us satisfied and weak.

It all started with one little glance,
love seen in brown eyes that night.
Fueled by passion we began to dance,
that's all it took for love to ignite.

A sensual yet not erotic love poem. Christians can write about love. In fact we can write truthfully about love because we know TRUE LOVE, AGAPE LOVE.

Spelling on 9th line, 2nd word inhibition (oversight I know)

WOW... I think the passion in which created this poem is amazing. The breath taking imagery carries the reader away with such fire. You really have the ability to capture the reader and leave them only wanting for more.... I love the way in which you write and how this poem feels.

I wish you the best of luck in the contest you entered but I am sure you will do very very well in it.
