A woman who feels nature
so intently,
speaking out in exquisite
and poignant poems
that call to one's spirit
to remember
our part in the cycle of life.
Weaving her gems of Native American song
through verses touching
with such loving reminders
about our need to respect
the fragile essence of all creation.
Always ready to uplift another,
bringing so much joy to all
who are blessed to know her,
allowing her muse's voice
light a path to our conscience
showing us Mother Earth's
heart and essence.
So we stop to say a special thank you
for a lady with a golden quill
igniting hearts and minds
always,
giving us so many reason
for celebrating
the pure joy of being alive.

Yes. She is a voice in the wilderness calling us home. She is completely in tune with her own nature, understanding its place in the cycle of Life. We are all such fragile, delicate creatures, made strong with purpose. She has followed a sometimes rocky trail towards Beauty; perhaps stumbling at times, but ever rising with a song towards the horizon & the elegance of the setting sun...She is an amazing Soul & I thank you for entering this contest to honor that...Good luck, Poet...
