Ripe as a swollen doorbell
and shivering
but not with cold
I perch
abreast herculean shoulders
and drip
like liquid candy coating
downwards
rinsing
in the sin of it all
utterly pervious
and overwrought with spasms of delight
as answers unveil themselves
one slender limb at a time,
answers to questions
either misplaced in time
or perhaps never even asked in the first place
but the pen tip scribbles on
fabling life
wanting more
and taking it,
lightning shakes a tender hill
and echoes its thunder
through the wall behind the night
as neighboring planets curl in blackened jealousy
again he strikes
and again
again
the pattern sweats like fury
preparing a moat around the fortress
where tooth touched nail
and lives
one another.

Like a feather unanchored
shooting off
into a blue oblivion
blinded by sunshine
and lighter than air
my heart condenses
on the gentle,
glowing surface
of his beautiful, upturned ocean
and we rise
like the light of a flashlight
to the glorious
ceiling of clouds. -
Very amazing! Keep up the good writes!
