Happy
Grinning from ear to ear
full of so much cheer.
Not knowing a reason why,
but then realizing with a sigh
I didn't need to know.
for it came out of the blue.
While listening to "only you".
A song I had heard before
but this time it proved to be so much more.
I felt like screaming and shouting,
no more crying and doubting.
Being happy at this moment, the second, this time,
was a cause to start a beautiful ryhme.
i began to ponder,"How long will it last?"
before i faded back into the present, my past.
But before i gave it the chance to runaway,
i chased those thoughts gone as I began to pray.
I prayed that it would stay,
even for just one whole day,
in the middle of the month of may.
