Omage

Somwhere towards the Western moon
Just this side of sane
The battered road
Of imortal greatness
Lies for us in wait
First paved by the original heros.
The Learys, Mcartneys, and Kings of the day
Troden on by
Joplin, Hendrix, and Garcia.
Airplane and The Doors?
More than just bands.
The imortal words
"Flowers are better then bullets"
Flow through their vains
Krauss's promise of unshakable bravery
For all of those to come.
Thickend by the blue and white,
The Reagan War
A war still fought
By the De La Rochas and Serjs of today.
But still the road remains.
So I say to you this
Young heros and heroines of the now,
Find the road
And lead the Rebellion
All the way
To the gates of Heavan.

Please tell me what you think

I could not have asked for a better comeback. This had an unbelievably strong rhythm about it.
Fueled by your carefully chosen words, this pieced packed one hell of a punch. It's an empowering collection of words. It pulls out natural emotions... some you forgot you had. In a word, perfection.
