heart song

I've touched her silence at the water's edge
in consciousness where light and dark meet
she wavers not
and though her thoughts are bared for all to acknowledge
her life is the written word on clouds displayed
if stars could speak
with moonlit wonder her light would out shine them all
for she may walk in shadow where darkness flows
her heart is true as any totem carved in memory's honour
I know her by her blessed pen
that marks the passages of time in golden moments
and if god chose to show a way
her words would all but suffice
she is the pen and mightier than any blade honed to purpose
and her intent true
as flight of arrow
and course of dream
she is this heart song sung
and always will be
the written page for all to read
and remember...

My favorite line that caught my attention: "I know her by her blessed pen that marks the passages of time in golden moments"

This was very enjoyable to read.
