Freedom

Missing image
Escaping from fetters
of bridled resentment,
flaming flight on 'hooves' of release
to never again aquiesce.

With wings of deliverance
in breezes of liberation,
vast coasts of oceans swell
to crash against your shores.

Bouyant heart races
in animated grace,
with strength of exalted spirit
to conquer all odds.

Creation now, your oceanic abyss
with heartfelt intensity soul palpitates,
in no longer a wasteland
finding tranquility's beach.

Lovely! Describes this picture to a "t". It is also a great allegory.

Yes, tranquility and joy for a horse would be to run unbridled.

Congratulations on your silver trophy! You deserved it with this write!

I love in the first stanza where the imagery relates to horse terminology. Kept me intrigued to want to read more. Although it switched from the second stanza onwards, I still enjoyed reading it. You certainly brought the image to life. Well done!!
