Why should I care about all that you say
Especially when you say it in such a harsh way
I switch myself off to the words that you spew
It really is a shame, cos I used to like you.
We used to be friends, we always hung out
Until you began to scream and shout
The underlying message may be true
But when you shout, I ignore you.
You make me blush, you make me mad
These bollockings are the worst I’ve ever had
And the sad thing is, if you didn’t loose your cool
I wouldn’t end up looking such a fool.
You shout at me for staying quiet
But if I shouted too, we’d start a riot
Of destructive words, what good would that do?
So I think I’ll stay quite and silently hate you.

I like the determination of this poem. It seems to be filled with angst and no regret. It is good that the release makes you feel courageous, and passionately aware of the fact that love and hate are made from the same fine thread. Excellent work here poet. Thanks for this entry in my contest. I wish you the best.
Much Love ♥

this has a really good flow to it, just near the end it is spoiled a little with distructive - destructive.
ah it is madness when someone goes off their nut, especially in public and yeah it is you who ends up looking the fool, love eh, who needs it at times

Thank you for pointing out my glaringly obvious spelling error! it was one of those ones where you keep reading but fail to pick it up!
Thanks for putting me right! Much appreciated
