Melt in Your Mouth Kisses

Dark chocolate
numbing to all other senses,
I take a bite
and lower my defenses.
Melting slowly into oblivion
with each tantalizing nibble,
drifting away, no use trying to fight.

As it turns soft against my lips,
I can only smile,
this little piece of heaven,
a delicious, chocolatey kiss.

Devoting my life to it,
a little bit every day,
I'd have trouble making it through,
without having some dark chocolate along the way.

It's made by Dove...
It's holy candy...
God wants you to have something so truly dandy.

Great write but for one thing. Check rule #2, last stanza, middle line. Fix it, and your poem will be even better!
