~Hand Of LIfe~



I was broken weakened by temptations
that entered my soul,
I was tearful face streaked with mascara,
I was on bent knees body wrenching,
I was praying for the Lord to take me home,
I was lost my eyes no longer able to see
darkness a true companion,

(He spoke)

I will forgive you for lessons are meant to be learned,
I will wipe away you tears and shower you with love,
I will only see you on bent knees in true prayer,
I will take you home only when the time has come,
I will fill your eyes with light and life will become your
companion,
But only if you will take my hand and let me walk with you.

    Unconditional forgiveness and love is beautifully present here in this piece.

    This is glorious, oh what a loving poem about the Lord. The image of the hand reaching out, and how He is there for you is just marvelous.
