Does that mean

Did for me?
Forget all the love you gave to me?
If I commit this to memory
Will I be forever
Trying to remember
something I want to forget
Something I want to leave behind
Will you be another memory in the attic of my mind?
Another memory
Lost in the cobwebs
That should have been tossed away before
What a waste of space
A waste of space
To me
To my mind
What a waste of memory
The pain you brought me
The waste of breath
Telling you how much I care
The waste of emotion
That could have filled an ocean
Forever I will commit you to memory
So I can forget
So you can forget
So we can forget

    It's easy to get lost into this

    Poetry, that works has a hypnotic effect. It works subtly on the reader in expressing its theme. For a moment I was lost in my thoughts and memories, that means it worked. That is a pain I understand. Thanks for the share.
