Traversing time, I saw eternity,
'twas a moment spent holding only thee.
Thy beauty was magnificent and grand,
'twas thee holding my heart, soul and hand.
Thine elegance allowed my fears to fall,
thy forgiveness allowed me to walk tall.
Thy merciful charity begat love,
and thy smile shined to heaven above.
Thy grace was sufficient for thee and me,
for thy speech showed great elegance in thee.
Thou took my face and cupped it in thine hand,
kissed it tenderly, sent me to new lands.
'Tis this sonnet I wrote to express me,
'tis my love I wish for thee to now see.

The love the language of yore days is used expertly in this elegant sonnet my sister. This is splendidly written with emotions that impact the reader. There is a blessing to these words, and I thank you for sharing them with us. Beautiful!
Much Love ♥
