Come My Children

Come my children, come sit right here.
And listen to the words I have for you to hear.
I know you have heard it from the start.
But once again, for I  love you in my heart.
To those who dream while my words are said,
Dreams come true when you are alive not dead.
For those who fig-it in their seats,
There is a hell, where they don't turn down the heat.

To those who pretend to listen,
You are missing the good words and lesson.
For those who did not come my way,
There may not be another day.
I don't think I impose a lot on you,
I only gave you twelve golden rules.
I gave you six days of the week to do as you please.
I only ask you save one day for me.

I know there are those who demand so much more.
Hang it up I am still trying to work on them.
I know I say help your fellow man,
They can be your children too.
We all need love to complete the plans.
Let us link together, let us put hand in hand,
Pulling together, for the good is the plan.
And with all of this you have,
My blessings forever, I swear

I appreciate you taking the time to enter the contest. Speaking as if you were the Lord is a different take on the picture. There were some good parts, and others that were written in a formative manner. Still, I enjoyed the read. Thank you for entering.

This was an interesting read although it was a bit difficult for me to follow at times in regard to the picture... I wish you the best in the contest! Best wishes and blessings,

    Frogz~

You have some forced rhymes in the first 2 stanzas, the third stanza doesn't rhyme at all. Your message is preachy and a little bit off. What - figiters are threatened with hell?

    This could use some rework.
