He held out His hand

He held out His hand
I took it
Even though
All of a sudden
I became small and fragile
Like a little kid
Five years old again
But I knew
That it was alright
I would make it
Through the storm

He held out His hand
I took it
And everything
Was revealed

I had no worries
Just like
When I was five years old
I was Daddy's little girl
Finally

And I realized
That I really needed no one
I only needed Him
And He would help me through
Every storm

He held out His hand
And I took it
And everything
Was okay.

Simple and faith filled. I like the repetition also.

Very nice. I like the repetion of "He held out His hand and I took it" The key to salvation is "taking" hold of the hand that He is always offering. Very well done. Thank you for entering the contest.
