Ripples

golden currents

filtering sands of time.

Beneath this paradise, buried

below crystal silhouettes, entities

of creatures now awaiting new

tides. Starfish shall awake,

sand dollars surf

Oh wow! This is absolutely brilliant! I am almost speechless, AGAIN!! You can do in restricted form, what most can't do in free verse! This is beautiful. Best of luck in the contest.

I wrote a song one time called the sands of time. It's always been a fascination of mine as well as crayons... lol. This closed really smoothly which I find hard to do in these diamond shaped forms. Excellent imagery. Well done.

This is beautiful. I love this form. It's not easy, but a challenge that's well worth the effort when it works out.

you build the promise of dreams and water nicely. You provoke the awakening of seeing the promise and potential where it would be easy to only see the wasteland. Once again you have nicely risen above the form and created a poem and a vision.
