The tranquil colors of autumn
Resound within soothing waters
Peacefulness through eye candy scenery
Taking the heart to a place of warmth
A place where love and joy fills the universe
Where sparkling life bubbles over the edge
Spilling out the flutter of loving heartbeats
As crickets and birds sing in harmony
Tree’s present themselves in all their glory
A flourish of hued color so bold ~ so beautiful
A gift from above ~ a tree star of yellow and orange ~
Gently floats upon the breath of Mother Nature
To rest its beauty only inches away
Close your eyes and feel its aura
Feel the power of the earth
Taste its beauty, see its color
This is where the universe is felt
Here in the vast beauty of our soils
Our Paradise in the waters
But most of all
In our Hearts..
Peace..

Aww Beautiful!!!
just peaceful, the serenity and majestic of this piece is quite overwhelming. Just reading it took me back to the woods of salem (my hometown) There there we're water falls and really lush green scenery...and this poem just makes me wish I was still there...these lines we're the most heart touching...and most vivid display of poetry that I've read in a long time...

I thought this was lovely linking peacefulness, love and nature together in such an inspired way. A well crafted poem. I especially liked the last stanza that brought everything in the poem together:

Her empowerment, her rest for the weary.
Her paintings to impress and enchant.
Her mirrors for self reflections.
Drop the dew upon glistening grass and
feel its mositure quench our thirst for
something more than the mundane.
Feel the breeze in all its colorful
array, swirl around and take us, to
another place and time.
Somewhere over the rainbows and
far far away.
Now, open slumbering eyes and see,
the fairy tale is she,
Nature.
And she is alive.

Love that "eye candy scenery" Have used that term before but not in that contest however fits perfectly here. The best was describing with such vivid imagery of the tree. "A tree star of yellow and orange..." This is so gentle and peaceful, I can envision myself laying on the ground looking about at all the wonders! Good job my friend! Good luck! I think it deserves the gold fer sure
