Lilac scented days create a desire so true,
I canst but help falling in love with thee.
Lilac, my dear, thy very name brought me to enjoy,
A garden of friendship others canst understand,
Come closer my love, I shall show thee thy true meaning.
Tonight my love shall not be denied,
Hold my hand whilst I carry thee through All Poetry land.
OH! My Love, My Joy, My Completed Heart,
Unique in treasures thou teaches me love dost exist,
Gets better with each and every breath thou givest.
Harken to thy inner voice, My Love,
Tonight I givest thou all of my heart and
Soul for thee to do with as thou will.

Oh this is beautiful and I like that you have penned it from My AP husband's heart to mine...there are some precious lines that touched me deeply
You may not know why you chose to write it this way, but I suspect it chose you, it has made it feel so much more personal...beautifully composed, you definitely have a gift of writing romance, I love the language used and the fact that it is an acrostic with my name, thank you for taking the time to pen this for me
