Even though we moved on.
So much weve been through.
It will never be gone.
Yes i love another.
But for a while you were number 1 in my heart.
And i know you love her.
But you cant keep our past in the dark.
I cherished you always.
And you remember The bliss.
Long talks in my hallway.
When you stole a kiss.
Sometimes when im lonely
I think about you.
The days when you were my one and only.
And cry hard is what i do.
Cause no matter what boy ill always love you.
Even though you made me hurt.
And all the shit you put me through
And hw you left me in the dirt.
In my heart ill remember your smile.
And your voice still rings in my head.
I promise to love you for more then a while.
Cause true love is never dead.

I loved this. I felt the emotion. It kinda upsets me because I am going through the same thing with my relationship. But I am on the other side watching him trying to fight feelings of his ex. This only confirms my suspicions. But I understand because I went through the same thing. It hurts but they are an ex for a reason. If it's meant to be you'll get it back. Before I forget, you made a typo..."And hw you left me in the dirt", you just for got the "o". Just looking out for you. Wonderful poem. Keep Writing!!
