Sometimes I wonder if I have a soul
because I am the only person unseen
by the automatic doors at WalMart.
Then I stop to consider the fact that
I shop at a corporation that eliminates
choice in order to save a few bucks.
That probably answers my question.

good one
I like this. Short and pointed.

If the automatic door didn't open, that would be creepy and disturbing. When Wal-Mart becomes the general store, nowhere else to shop, then choice (except for eBay) has been eliminated.

Honestly, the door at WalMart rarely opens for me. Twice, it's shut on me and pinched an arm or leg. Not even kidding. And the fact that I continue to go to WalMart only continues to limit the options. It puts smaller business out. People like me who just keep going there are MAKING it the general store. It's sad.
