Arg!! We're the pirates
Of the orchestra anyway
Our specialty is to steal
The best music and play
It 'til it's no longer
Recognizable to others
Our captain Jack Sparrow
Is a fierce young gal
She'll beat out a crooked
Path with her new cello
And shows off her skills
To those who're unbelievers
The conductor's baton
Makes a formidable sword
That's ready to smack
Any on their head
And shape up the crew
That's us lazy bunch
We do as much work
That we have to and
Nothing more 'cause we
Don't want to, but if
The captain says softer
Or louder, we obey
Us pirates try our best
Not to get caught slackin'
But it's kinda hard due
To a lack of motivation
Music ain't fun to filch
So that's our excuse
We're terrible pirates
Though we've been in the
Business for many years so
The danger no longer exists
Our only big accomplishment
Is the scary noises we make

For orchestra, we're playing the orchestrated version of the Dead Man's Chest and our concert is tomorrow. I thought I would write about it because it would be fun.

This is quite an original write. I've never seen apoem about your topic 'Orchestra Pirates' before, very intriguing. I couldn't work out a form or such, as it jumps around a lot from rhyme and sort of story, but it does show a lot of fun.
I also don't get why you make Jack Sparrow a 'gal' here either as I think even his name should be male. That threw me more off course because I love Captain Jack Sparrow and you have said that it's about POTC; he's definately no gal.
Besides that, quite original [like I have already said] but quite confusing in the way you both express your words and meaning, and how they come together. Thanks for entering though. -
