Losing The Cover

They flew away, each into the bare air.
Sliding off and distant into the past,
Vanishing, and growing a sturdy care
This expression soon to be strongly cast.

The work quickly dripped down upon my face.
A countenance of determination
Showed the way to an astounding new base.
In came unexpected contemplation
to be swept away in the changing river.
Hours and hours, for an emergence,
That if done right could make the fearless quiver.
The two worlds starting a new convergence.

The new growing more apparent each day,
The old laying still in their spoiled way.

Yeah- see what you can come up with!!
