Timeless Fall

Missing image
oh tantalizing time
my lover
dance me
so free of stumble
nothing to suffer
more to uncover
oh tantalizing time
my lover

oh fascinating fall
soft hugger
swirl me
so free to tumble
always forever
more to discover
oh fascinating fall
soft hugger

so many images come with the use of the word "fall" in this in your second stanza Myra. there is this relationship in this poem that is soft and real and being beseeched to say the least. then you give us this image by Jose Alves - firm arms raised with time so largely above that man... I can't but imagine not wanting to fall within the verses. It's the knowing that we can be caught, held and cradled that brings such a poem closer than expected to our hearts as well as our minds.

    it's simply lovely Myra...

i am fascinated by time, always have been – to me it is an evasively illusive mercury stream whose movement can be felt, even seen, to some degree but always just out of my reach, my grasp and yet (enigmatically) holds me as a cocoon. What is frustrating to me is that i know i am destined for a newer form beyond time’s hold and my chrysalis will one day explode allowing me to finally soar as the creature i was intended to be. ‘Til that time, i watch clocks hour hands for movement, shadows which slowly slide across the landscape and my seasons – as i learn to let go of this life. A wonderful, evocative poem.
    Blessings and best wishes, ~richard

Give me your hand and step lively. Sherlock will play us a jig on the fiddle, (he hates it when I call it that) and we can celebrate the moment of eternal dance. Whatever you got on will work. Just start moving your feet.

    tantalizing

Blah blah blah time is blah blah blah.

THis was as sweet as it was short. But not sickeningly so, just good, flowing lovely words strung together beautifully and i eat it like a sausage string.

I just couldn't get the waltz out of my head as I read this.

Linear time, intrinsically interlaced with dimensional space is the wicked invention of the dark realm to fragment, separate and destroy the souls of GOD's beautiful creation. It will be annihilated by an enraged GOD who will send HIS mighty Army of Light to destruct the destructive powers of the universes. I cannot wait for this to take place. Thank you precious soul for creating and sharing this soft poetic longing. Your deepest wishes will come true. Ack,

    Chris
