To kiss the corner of your mouth,
only half chaste.
To hold your hand out in the rain,
only half cold.
To see your face in a tarnished mirror,
only half perfect.
Alone when I'm without you,
half a soul.
Only whole when I am with you,
I am yours.
Author notes
It's short; I don't do well with long poems. Leave me your honest opinions... I can handle criticism.
Tell me what you think...

Actually
This is great. The theme of only half played out well.

Thanks
Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was hokey or not. -

I found it very insightful. It's the way true lovers feel, especially when apart. You did good with it.
