the yoga of shyness stretched open its
slow, delicate fate.
the Sage sipped tea,
until both tea and sage became a ballet stage.
nestling in slightly pursed lips,
an impulsive thought felt itself there,
right there,
then gave itself permission to sneak out a shivering smile.
then, when her self-imposed legend fell flat on her face, and
He let out a sudden, silly kiss that held on,
and on,
and on & on & on…diligently,
with unforgivable gentleness,
letting his every soulful guitar-lick
imbibe and saturate her bliss.
overwhelmed with healing forgetfulness,
their mirth erupted in chorus.
They laughed and laughed,
Wondering if people are supposed to meet this way.

Well met indeed Timothy, and however a meeting is to take place it was destined from the beginning of time. A very nice and softly written poem...Scott

I Agree, Wanda
Most men don't understand librarians. Maybe I'm deluded, but I like to believe I do... -
Thanks Pamela
