Revenge Is sweet
Her cold eyes keenly searched the shadows
In anticipation certainly not out of fear
Within she could feel her heart start racing
Because she sensed one of Them was near
Give me your money bitch he screamed
Waving a huge hunting knife in his hand
Her reaction was to stare at him blankly
Pretend that she had failed to understand
The vicious piece of subway scum threatened
I’ll cut you if you don’t give me all you got
Then he was dead before he hit the sidewalk
The moron never knew that he had been shot
She paused, smiled, then calmly walked away
Lost in the cold misty darkness of the night
Content in the knowledge that by erasing scum
She would somehow put the world to right
Her belief is an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth
Is revenge justification, some folk would say not
But with her murdered husband lying in his grave
It’s the only means of satisfaction she has got

This write clearly tells a story of revenge. Expressed with a satisfaction of ending pain which seems to have turned to such true hate towards the end...then bringing a pleasure of comfort once it was over.
Very deep!
