Oh, I love the combination of the winter cold and hot sun
It's like having hot apple pie and ice cream on the run
You won't get super duper sweaty, yet you still are warm
But the poor tree is naked, there's no leaves on its arm
All the buds are hybernating, after winter they will come
The sun doesn't vanish, it holds the stage and then some
Only green things live to die, rejuvenate, & then return
Winter can never kill the sun, it's too hot and too stern
When I see the sun streaming through the arms of the tree
I get kind of misty, cocky, selfishly thinking all about me
Happy that the cold can only hurt me up to a certain degree
Because in the rays of the sun, is my warmth and my safety

The sun is awesome. XD The rhyming was nice, it didn't sound forced (which is always nice). The first verse made me laugh, & the second two were cheerful and pleasant. Thanks for the smile!
