I'm Not Perfect

You judge me

Based on looks

On clothes

On appearance

And anything else

You can think of.

Who are you to do that?
You have no right

Based entirely on looks.

You tell me I’m ugly.

You tell me I’m fat

Who are you to say things like that?

To someone you barely know

If you stopped being so judgmental

And superficial

You would see me

The true me

The one I hide

From those who are unworthy

But you could change

If you could respect me

And how I look

I’m not perfect

And neither are you

Author notes

This is just something I wrote to all those people who judge people based on looks alone. Because I can not stand people who do that.

Please tell me what you think

I like this poem and I have felt ugly at times to. At the end of the day you have to know that only god can judge you because he made us all. No matter how pretty someone we all get called ugly.
