Soldier Of The Lord

I'm a soldier for freedom in the Army of the man
I take from no one and i give unto this land
I'm willing to give up my life if i must
Their are not many i am willing to trust
All i have is my word and i'm not going to lie
There are no short cuts or no long good byes
I don't like to hurt anyone or see them cry
I am a child of God with the Lord by my side
Its not safe any more to be out on the street
You have to watch out for the people you meet
Life is to short to lie , cheat and steal
It takes a better person than that to be real
Be strong for your family and friends
If you are they will be with you until the end
The Lord knows you and your thoughts and your heart
If you are true to him he will never apart
If we are going to live together in Heaven
We need to stay with each other here on Earth
If your going to live for God you will need a rebirth
Its a wonderful life one filled with love
This kind of life can only come from above
Be true to yourself and treat all well
Stay away from bad things and their spells
Spirits are real they can be good or bad
If you fall into temptations it can be really sad
Let others know that you can be a friend
Help them with hard times and troubles to the end
Live in glory for the Lord
And not by the death of a sword....
