Dragons

I'm watching ghastly dragons
As they make another claim
He used to be a friend of mine,
Now I couldn’t tell his name

There’s nothing you can say to nirvana
When it's packed in a syringe
There’s nothing left for them to see
As good as what it gives

I'm watching pallid dragons
As they slither out of sight
And I wonder who comes home
To sleep alone tonight

The little girl lost her sister,
They came and took her away
And there ain't enough pills in all the world
And there’s nothing I can say

So I tell her that I love her
And pray her heart can mend
And each time I must leave her,
I wonder if I'll see her again

Well I'm watching tear-stained dragons
As they slither out of sight
And wonder just how far I am
From their deadly grasp tonight

Please tell me what you think

    Wow

This is so sad, but something a lot of young one's feel. You are growing so fast and things seem so bad.
Keep your chin up and things will get better. We all have tough times. Did you know Paris has to go to jail? Anyway I hope things get better. This is a strong poem. The Shaker
