Goodbye Darlin'

so we lived our life
and the time went by
but there came a day when you went too,
so we texted all night
and we cried our tears
and wished we'd done more
to show our love
but since we couldn't
the time went by and we lived our lives
and there came a day
when we didnt know the other's name
but there we are in each other's heart
and though our brains may not know the difference
something else does.
