It's just at night that I can hear you,
When darkness has covered the once bright sky,
Black surroundings creeping over me,
An operating silhouette show.
Amongst my dreams,
Awakening on some random hour,
I hear words,
Feel your presence,
Surrounding me,
Closing in on me;
Unthreatening, but chilling,
Happening when I least expect it.
Somehow,
It's comforting,
I feel calm,
Almost uneffected.
Are you just my imagination?
A whisper between breaks in dreams,
Or something more,
A presence,
A connection,
Reaching out slowly...
But there's one certainty,
One truth...
I can hear you...

*Shakes hands wildly* (lol, I do that when I'm excited.)
I loved it! I went to check out your profile and found out that you are VERY similar to me, I even liked most of the bands you listed.
This poem is excellence. Pure excellence.
