Journey Towards Vast Eternity

I yearn to hear the beats of my soul that resides in you
I long to feel the love in the air
I wait to be colored in the hue
Of your love and prayer.

Ages can I spend in waiting for you
If dreams do promise me that they become true.
Colors of ecstasy wait within me to rejoice
Don't you hear in me the spring of joy to noise?
Say to me just once that you love
Lie to me- I promise I'll believe.
I can live my entire life with that lie
I know it's but a fantasy
It is never reality
And knowing all these I start my journey towards vast eternity
Because love can find it's way in infinity.

Love is such a powerful emotion, and you've expressed that emotion very well in this poem. And is that me spotting TWO lines instead of ONE of the bunch you could have chosen from? Very good! I'm very impressed, great job! Thanks for entering and good luck Love, Morgaine

I really iked this poem even though it is sad to talk about a lying love for eternity and infinity. Is it worth it? Unrequited love is difficult on the soul.

It's sad living in lie?? but it's bliss too, not knowing the truth. "rejoice" and "noise", it was nice rhyming.
