When I was young,
life was a simple thing
Chasing butterflies, picking flowers,
boys were gross and had cooties
Getting older,
life was full of adventure
Climbing trees, learning how to swim,
camping out and reaching for the stars
Getting older still,
things get scary, bumpy, and hard
The mind body and soul develope,
boys are cute and I need better clothes
Being a tween,
your not the same as everyone else
your either cool or forgotten,
The stars begin to dim
Being a teenager,
my life is hell screw the world
Im the publics number one enemy,
I'm sewn together with a smile and falling apart inside,
Pick a future! Pick a future!
echoes in my head
Pick a future! Get good grades! Get a good job!
OR YOUR NOTHING,YOUR JUST ANOTHER NOBODY....
lost in the present.
Please tell me what you think

I can well understand what you are saying. I would say: don't take it too seriously; you can have more than one future. And here's a quote from my collection, lol:
"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." -- Howard Thurman
