slow
quick quick
step, turn
quarter, half
full on
I think of you
while guys laugh by
that Riverside
a lady passes
on her cell
well, remember
when conversations
were present
face and yours to mine
I don't believe in time
I am forced to
hold you
and you remind me best
of Him
I have not felt
so well
since my memory
falls off
I think on that feeling
find you
I do
you are a memory
of my dream
forgive these eyes
if they romanticize
warm breath
on my neck
I turn
cold
turns warm
both winds
we
what does
time mean
for you?
I would have us
turn all our good nights
to good mornings
but that is the tale
of husbands
that has yet
to be seen
Author notes
I wrote this March 14, 2007. Came 'cross it amongst my collection of loose notes and writes. I guess it was one of those ones I would never consider sharing ever, but it's powerful and I guess I don't feel the need to hide it now.
The original fits onto one 81/2" by 11" folded page into four quardrants (quatro pattern basically). Each stanza fits into a quadrant, top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right respectively.
Please tell me what you think

You'll probably never read this comment, since you've seemingly given up Allpoetry.com forever (thanks to me), but I just wanted to let you know that you had an impact on my life, and your poetry makes me come back and read it again and again.
I remember that night, and I remember the feelings. Thanks for penning them so well.
