I just hung up the phone
It felt so good hearing from you
If you only knew how much I've missed
My friend to help me through
I didn't mean to lecture
I tried so hard not to yell
It's just that I've wanted to talk to you
There's been so much I've needed to tell
I don't like when you're distant
Or hide away from me
I know, sometimes, I expect too much
But, I can't help it, it's our history
I worry so much about you
Even more so when you're gone
So when you up and disappear
My radar tends to kick on
I need to know that you're not hurt
That you really are doing okay
And when I don't, I get so scared
The way I feel is hard to say
Our relationship has changed over time
But the fact that I care is still strong
I just can't give up on you, my friend
Please forgive me if that's wrong

This was written for my best friend. He knows who he is! I love him and always will, he's just going through a rough spot right now. I want you to know that I'm always here for you and when you are ready I'll be waiting my friend! No matter what, you are still my knight!

This is a nice poem for a special friend.. You worry about your friend because that is what friends do.. We ry on each others shoulders when were hurt and listen as our friends talk on the phone.. Lovely write I hope your friend loves it as much as I do.
