you have no right to judge them. you dont understand what they're going through.
if you think you so perfect and so much better than them why are you sitting around writting about it.

WAY TO GO!!! I could not have said it better. I think emos are winey, snotty little posers. I know what it is like to feel heartache and pain... and cutting myself was never something that crossed my mind.. You deal with it and move on... anyhow.. great write. Good luck in the contest

must agree with the kingofclubs. cynicle in a good way. it's not inconsiderate. it's to piss people off and to show you how dumb it is to do that for attention. i was an attention cutter so i know what i'm fucking talking about.

Cutting is a serious problem. Someone that feels so lost and desperate in life that they cut just to feel something isn't a joke.I don't cut, but either way, inconsiderate much?

I'm not trying to be mean...
I'm simply putting forth my opinion. All around me people are showing off their fresh new marks from razor blades or kitchen knives, and it makes me sick. I realize if you're so lost that you need to feel pain, but you should talk to someone. If you can't do that, I can't help you. I'm sorry if my poem came across to you as offensive, but this is my aproach to the subject and if I acted the same as everyone else about it I probably woudn't be writing poetry.

Thank you for the apology. I do know where you're coming from. It disgusts me that something like self-mutilation is "trendy", or that people can have so little self-respect that they cut themselves for attention. But for people that really are dead inside, it is a very touchy issue that shouldn't be messed with by people that don't understand (including me).
