I'm rushing through the city streets
As all the energy within me depletes.
Bodies scattered all over town
Zombies gathering all around.
I am the only one to survive
I can't imagine being eaten alive.
Car wrecks and fires are everywhere
A flesh eater in front of me gives a blank stare.
Run to the left, swirve to the right
Knowing full well I won't win this fight.
I already feel myself starting to change
Never knew a hand bite could feel so strange.
I put a pistol to my head while humanity remains
Instead of becoming a zombie, I'll blow out my brains.
I pulled back the trigger with pressure applied
It did not go off so I looked inside.
The barrel was empty, the bullets weren't there
I then walked into a crowd with no longer a care.
But they didn't eat me...not so much as a scratch
I watched them all as they began to dispatch.
As all my lifes memories started to fade
I caught the last brodcast the newcaster made.
"Zombies are taking over the nation!"
Then they burst through the door into the news station~

Why didn't the person get eaten?
Not your best flow, but an interesting story! -
