Mother's Day.

It is odd, I think,
that you think
I don't understand.

I was born into  understanding
things
        from the darker side.

Given a ringside view
of hurt
and then hurt somemore.

Memories that cling
but hide and wait
for a noise...
  a scent
    A scene

There is more
than one kind of war
Some of which

Never end.

Please tell me what you think

Ah! Those internal wars seem to shove us about in constant battle. It makes me sad to know that the pains of the past always seem to surface when we don't need their hindrance. I feel these words and know why they had to be released. Excellent musing my sister! Mother's Day is a great task to some, and reward in a mixed blend of blessings.

To have a rainbow you must have rain... I don't know but this made me think how, in life, that in order to enjoy the good times you have to suffer through some bad ones. For you I hope the good ones far outnumber the bad ones.

    Sincerely,
    Leo Long

    painfully deep

Maddie your words paint a painfully deep picture of a tormented spirit enmeshed with conflict and personal suffering. As the reader I feel like a witness to all of this and leaves me feeling rather helpless.

    Vivid words, spoken with conviction.

    Namaste,

    ferg

Wow, this does bring imagery to my eyes and thought to my mind. A wonderful write here that in its short form leaps from the page and engulfs the reader. My pleasure to read this. Thank you for sharing

"Dis"harmony is but the dual side of harmony so in having one we will have the other. Perconceived notions of what someone can or can not do will usually bring disharmony in the end and give us a good old smuck aside the face when the other person proves us wrong. Just remember there is a season to everything and that includes the interactions of people for unless both are on the same level and at the same spot in their lives, they WILL have a different take on any situation. Don't let anothers
bad vibe influence your own for though we can't control
what comes to us, we can control how we react.
Happy Mother's Day and may the sun be shine bright for you today...

    Hugs...Eddy
